011 – Holiday Health w/ Men’s Health Fitness Director BJ Gaddour

The holiday season is here! Do not get me wrong ladies and gentleman, I want you to ENJOY the holidays, enjoy your friends and family, and CELEBRATE your lives, but I also want you to be smart about it. On today’s show, Men’s Health Fitness Director BJ Gaddour joins me to talk to about his personal health journey and give us 5 tips to staying healthy during the holidays.

Tips for holiday health:

  1. Treat your holiday as you would any other day. For example, if you always eat 5 meals a day, stay in that same routine and you won’t be as hungry for your big dinner.
  2. Make sure to workout and maximize every minute of your session.
  3. Before going back for seconds, make sure to take a break to assess your hunger.
  4. Commit to a set amount of time to exercise every day, whether it be an hour of walking the dog or using the treadmill – get that movement in and stay consistent!
  5. Alternate between our social media pages and find 5 movements to add to your workout everyday and truly dig deeper into your movement.
