WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Open your eyes and know when it is time to change lanes. NO, not in your car, in your journey in life. I understand sometimes you may be trying to get to your destination as soon as possible but that is not going to happen with all of the road blocks. Sometimes these roadblocks are avoidable – sometimes these roadblocks are the people you allow into your life.
How many days out of the month do you have a struggle of some sort which will have you reassess your situation to get to the next situation effectively?
Typically, we like put together the pieces of the puzzle to solve our problems or find that glue to fix what is broken. But WHY when it comes to PEOPLE in your life becoming your issue – your own personal roadblock, we tend to wait around and sit in the traffic? You’ll find that you don’t even try to figure out how to change lanes.
What happens when this “traffic jam” is constantly going on in your head? There is no FREEDOM to move forward no matter how hard you try.
Don’t get to the point where you let the person in front of you stops short and make you slam on your breaks. YOU need to push yourself forward. If you see this happening to you there are ways to approach the situation. I understand, it can be hard separating yourself from a person that is apart of your life. The minute you understand you can not change people is the minute you will begin to navigate yourself out of the situation. You need to be hard on the problem, and soft on the person to let loose and drive off into the open road.
