Let’s continue the conversation today on being NAKED.
Today we talk to my soul brother, Todd Midgett from NC Fit Club, on his journey that many of us can relate to – finding comfort in oneself in being naked. For Todd growing up he didn’t play sports, or go to a gym where he was ever in the environment (such as a locker room) with others where he had to be around others naked. In later years, he was even uncomfortable in being naked in front of his own wife, feeling as if he was not attractive enough. But as he grew to be a man in his later thirties, there was a switch that changed his outlook completely and he became the most comfortable with his body he has ever been.
I, myself even have past experiences growing up that I took with me for many years that deal with nakedness. Which brings upon the question, does the comfortability of being naked learned or is it instinctive? Do you think that the ones who raised you developed your comfortability with your body based upon theirs?
I truly hope you guys are getting used to the idea of getting naked. Because on the opposite side of the spectrum, I interview a few others who are completely comfortable with being naked ALL the time. One man is completely in touch with nature and finds the beauty in not relying on a mirror to gain that acceptance through his life – or his nakedness. Another, demonstrates their pride in who they are and the way god made them – and it is truly inspirational.
So, take it all off and lets get into this conversation and find out the real meaning behind AFD and how its meaning will change your life.
